News and Press Release Submission Instructions

Below is a form for submitting a press release. We suggest clients format the press release in a word processing program, save it as a text file (.txt), then paste it into the form below. It is not necessary to use this form. Many clients find it much more convenient to simply e-mail a press release directly to Software Wire at news@softwarewire.com. Use the subject header SWPR: (Company Name).

Clients may enter information in the form below or use it as a guide if sending a release by e-mail. Contact telephone numbers, an e-mail address and the URL where a trial version of a product is available for download are necessary pieces of information which should be in any release sent via the Software Wire.

If the company submitting the information is acting as a representative or agency for the company mentioned in the news release, please let us know either in the comment area following the news release text box or in a separate e-mail message to us. Advertising and public relations be advised that no representative of Software Wire will contact your clients directly.

Please remember to check spelling and the functionality of urls mentioned in your document before submission. Staff working on Software Wire assignments do review each press release before it is sent, however, we do not accept responsiblitiy for typographical errors.

After submitting the information below, a screen will appear which will connect to our SECURE SERVER. Software Wire distribution may be paid using PayPal or a major credit card. This online form links to PayPal. For credit card payments please call our toll free number. Billing will appear from our parent company, Xpress Press on your statement. Clients sending a release by direct e-mail may click here to supply payment on-line or in the U.S phone 800-713-7701 or 954-989-3338.

Software Wire service may be paid using a company or personal check. However, payment is required in advance of distribution unless arrangements have been made for account billing. Clients may send press releases by diskette with a check or money order by overnight mail, please include a hard copy or print version of the release with the check. The mailing address is: Xpress Press (Software Wire), 4741 Sarazen Drive, Hollywood, Florida 33021 USA. Checks should be written payable to Xpress Press.

A staff person will confirm the receipt of the press release and let you know the status of our distribution schedule. Distribution is generally within 24 hours. We will suggest editorial changes that we feel are appropriate, naturally all changes are subject to client approval.

We will note any changes in our approval back to you. Press releases over 400 words are subject to additional charges.
